The Pinawa Sailing Club is preparing for an exciting 2026 season with expanded programming, new events, and continued growth of the club fleet and membership.

This summer will feature the return of the Sail Manitoba Mobile Sailing School, July 13-17, including both introductory youth sailing and CANSAIL certification streams. The club is also launching regular group sailing and club racing activities, with more details to be announced soon.

A major highlight of the season will be the Pinawa Birthday Weekend Regatta, July 18 and 19, which will bring sailors from across Manitoba to Pinawa as part of a new Opti travelling race series. The weekend will include training, racing, and community events connected to the broader Birthday Weekend celebrations.

Behind the scenes, the club has also been working on governance improvements, fleet planning, storage organization, and stronger regional partnerships with other sailing clubs in the Whiteshell.

New members, volunteers, and sponsors are always welcome. More information on memberships, sailing school registration, and summer programming will be released in the coming weeks.
