Pinawa Birthday Regatta – Summer 2026

The Pinawa Sailing Club is excited to host the 2026 Pinawa Birthday Regatta as part of the community’s Birthday Weekend celebrations.

This year’s regatta will be bigger than ever, bringing together junior and adult sailors from across Manitoba for a weekend of sailing, training, racing, and community events.

The weekend will include:

• Saturday training clinic with the Manitoba Opti Team Coach
• Sunday regatta racing
• participation in the new Manitoba Opti travelling series
• visiting sailors from clubs including West Hawk Lake and Falcon Lake

The event follows directly after the Pinawa Sailing School and is intended to showcase youth sailing, recreational sailing, and competitive sailing in the Whiteshell region.

The regatta will feature Opti and Laser racing, with additional classes possible depending on participation.

We are also planning an open kayak race!

Spectators, volunteers, sponsors, and new sailors are all welcome. More details, schedules, and registration information will be released closer to the event.
