Pinawa Birthday Weekend Regatta – July 20, 2025

The Pinawa Sailing Club hosted a lively regatta on Sunday, July 20, as part of the Pinawa Birthday Weekend celebrations. Ten sailors took to the water. The final heat featured Commodore Michael King, young Dax Crumb, and Past Commodore Eric Busch — with Michael ultimately claiming the victory.

The day brought great racing, camaraderie, and a river full of sails. Plans are already in motion to expand next year’s event with both a Laser Class and a Kids Opti Class, making the regatta even bigger and better.
