This Thursday evening the Sailing Club is inviting you to come see what sailing in Pinawa is all about.

We’re hosting a Showcase Evening part open house, part waterfront display, where you can get up close with our boats, meet local sailors, and find out how you can get involved.

We’ll have several of our dinghies (Lasers and Optis) rigged and on display on land so you can see how they work. A few of our members will bring their personal keelboats to the docks for walk-on tours. It’s a great chance to look around, ask questions, and maybe start imagining yourself at the helm.

We’ll also have a few extra things happening to make things interesting. Boats sailing in the bay, conversations on the dock, and plenty of friendly faces. If you’re walking the Ironwood Trail, make a pit stop at the Sailing Club to check it out.

This night is also a warm-up for our Sailing School, which runs this weekend. There are still spots available, so if you’ve ever thought about learning to sail, it’s not too late to sign up!
